Luke 23:2 And they began to accuse him, saying, “We found this man trying to mislead our nation, opposing the payment of taxes (phorous | φόρους | acc pl masc) to Caesar, and claiming himself to be Christ, a king.”
Romans 13:6 this is also why you pay taxes (phorous | φόρους | acc pl masc), for authorities are servants of God, devoted to this very thing.
