FlashWorks Installer (Full)

This is a special version of the Macintosh installer that loads everything except the audio files into your computer. This means you can skip step #2 in the previous instructions.

1. Download this installer by clicking here.

2. You have to correct the permisisons for the databases. So do the following for all four files:

  • flashworksgreek.vdb
  • flashworksgreek.blb
  • flashworkshebrew.vdb
  • flashworkshebrew.blb

Here is how you reset permissions for each of these four files.

  1. Go to the Finder and click once on one of the icons.
  2. Press COMMAND-I to get the Information windows. (You can also use the menu item File>>Get Info.)
  3. Go to the bottom and set the permissions to the "staff" group to Read & Write.
  4. Repeat this for each of the other three files.

If the gold colored padlock icon is closed, click on it and enter your
system password so you can change the permissions.
