mac "Unable to open the database"

 I used the installation link on the teknia website, went through the install, and got the following message when I tried to open the app:

"Unable to open the database: Macintosh HD:Applications:FlashWorks:FlashWorksGreek.vdb (0.)."

There is a file by that name in that location.  

Also, the intro files say that a "VComponents" folder should be installed (HardDisk>>Library) and there does not appear to be such a folder in my library.
