Matt 4:6
NIV. “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down.”

NIV. She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.”

How can the present tense describe a continuous action and yet Jesus heals him instantly?

How many people does it take to be the temple of God?
ESV. Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?
NIV. Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?
NLT. Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?
