Who is Mark quoting in 1:2, and why is there a difference?

To whom was the letter of the Ephesians written? Check 1:1 and a commentary.

Why do you think the KJV added “unworthily” in 1 Corinthians 11:29? Check the paragraph.

The ESV of 1 Corinthians13:3 reads, “If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned,* but have not love, I gain nothing.” The asterisk after “burned” refers to the footnote that reads, “Some manuscripts deliver up my body [to death] that I may boast.”

What is behind the change from “burn” to “boast”?
