Seen in Minimized Window but Not On Screen

Fully installed and worked until first shutdown on two machines (one XP one Vista).  Flashworks will initially run showing the icon window and thereafter automatically minimizes or does not appear on the screen except as a tab on the toolbar. 

The Xp laptop machine did this after an adobe update....  Would this affect the operation?

Really appreciate and use this software... any help applauded as vocabularly quizes loom in the near future!!
