Making an audio CD from a mp3 CD
There are many ways to turn a mp3 lecture into an audio cd format. Here is just one way.
Note: making an audio CD does not mean you can share it with friends. Please respect the copyright and the work of the speaker.
1. If necessary, download iTunes from Apple. It is free and works on both Macs and PCs. Install the software.
2. Load the mp3 CD into iTunes. The easiest way to do this to start iTunes, load your CD, open up the disk so you can see its contents, and drag them onto iTunes.
3. Confirm that iTunes will save as an audio CD. This is set by going to iTunes/Preferences/Advanced and click on the Burning tab. Be sure the first radio button is selected (Audio CD).
4. Make a playlist by selecting File/New Playlist. You can only burn a playlist to the cd. Give it a name.
5. Connect the lecture(s) to the playlist. Click on Library/Music in iTunes, find the lecture (or lectures, depending on how many will fit), and drag the file onto the playlist. (An audio CD can only hold 80 minutes of sound.)
6. Select File/Burn Playlist to Disc.
